Our History

 

Coming Together As One LLC was established in Georgia in 2005 by Dorletha Smith. The vision of the company was to unite families through uncovering the riches of their ancestral bloodline. The name first came about in August of 2000 when our family was planning a reunion. As the ideas arose of how and when and where the reunion would take place, a decision came about to have a theme reunion. In order to accommodate all the wishes and desires of the entire family a ballot was sent out to vote on the actual theme. Coming Together As One won that ballot! The reunion was a success!

 

Our family was able to experience one another without the boundaries of race, religion and or creed. We embraced each others children and lives and from that experience, a business was born. A business whose essential purpose would be to bring that same joy into the lives of other families across the nation. Coming Together As One is more than a theme, it is a declaration of unity that extends to the innermost places of our hearts and minds. It is the reality of family as the pinnacle of life. That family regardless of location or formation is the very core of who we are, who we were and what we shall be.
